Kia Motors America has received plenty of good news over the past few years, including sales numbers that exceeded half a million in 2012, the first time the company has ever reached a total that high.
The good news continued pouring in recently, as research firm AutoPacific announced that two Kia models were the recipients of prestigious Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. The 2013 Kia Optima sedan took home the best mid-sized car award, while the 2013 Sportage was ranked the most satisfying compact crossover SUV.
“Vehicles that score highest in the Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are delivering value and satisfaction across a wide range of attributes,” said George Peterson, president of AutoPacific. “The VSA clearly shows buyers which vehicles are at the top of the class they are considering.”
More than 52,000 new-vehicle owners chimed in with their opinions for the AutoPacific survey, weighing 51 factors such as fuel economy, comfort and performance.
