Buying American is important to help support our economy, and you can do your part by driving a Kia. That’s right, a large number of Kia vehicles are made right here in America, and the 1 millionth American-made Kia recently rolled off the assembly line in West Point, Georgia. The snow-white pearl 2014 Sorento SXL is the latest in a long line of made-in-the-USA vehicles that we can all be proud of.
“Building one million vehicles in less than four years is a tremendous achievement and one that each one of our more than 3,000 team members can take great pride in,” said Byung Mo Ahn, Group President and CEO for Kia Motors America and Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia. “People are the heart and soul of this company, and our team members’ commitment to world class quality is one of the major driving forces behind Kia’s unprecedented sales and market share growth in the U.S. over the last few years.”

Kelley Blue Book has served as an important resource for car shoppers for years, and the research site’s 10-Best Lists are a great way to compare vehicles. Now they’ve released their 10 Best Cars Under $25,000 list, which features the 2013 Nissan Altima. We can’t say we’re all that surprised. The Altima is a fan favorite for its styling and fuel efficiency, and KBB.com editors made special note of the model’s “artful” interior and NASA-inspired seats. This is the second time the Altima has earned KBB.com honors, taking a spot on the 10 Best Family Cars List earlier this year.
